MIFF Media Forum press-conference

MIFF Media Forum press-conference will take place on June 19, 2010, at 12-45, the location is Moscow International Film Festival press-center at the Khudozhestvenny cinema-theater.

Among MIFF Media Forum press-conference participants are:

Gary Hill 's place in the pantheon of contemporary video art is attested to by his many awards and exhibitions – a Golden Lion at the Venice Film Festival in 1995; participation at the Documenta IX in Kassel; solo exhibitions at MOMA in New York; frequent participation at biennales at the Whitney Museum; exhibitions at the Pompidou Centre in Paris; and many other prestigious awards and grants.

Kathy Rae Huffman is Associate Professor of Electronic Art at Rensselaer Polytechnic Institute (RPI), Troy, New York, since August 1998 and curator for the Van Gogh TV Virtual Museum System. She was based in Europe since 1991, working freelance as a specialist in networking and metadesign. She has curated numerous programs and lectured at festivals and arts institutes. In Vienna she was associate of HILUS, created the Internet projects FACE SETTINGS and SIBERIAN DEAL together with Eva Wohlgemuth. Together with Margarete Jahrmann she created pop~TARTS, an interactive writing project for the Telepolis online journal. She co-moderates the female only mailing list FACES.
