Que Sera Sera

Que Sera Sera is a video journal utilizing the self-portrait during the daily ritual of make-up application. Each entry is accompanied by the song Que Sera Sera sung by the protagonist and Doris Day. The structure of the video is determined by the reconstruction of the song.

In a rehearsal studio, the dancer surrenders herself to movement. She escapes the banality of everyday life, filling the room with the poetry of movement.

Blueprint

Blueprint examines the 21st century through the ironic and ridiculous concept of extreme anti-bacterial cleanliness. As we eradicate more bacteria than is healthy, we create " super-bugs " that have become immune to our cleaning products. This video parallels sexual stimulation with our cultural addiction to excessive washing. An addiction ingrained within us through the media-generated fear of a so-called " impure " and forever « imperfect» human body.

Master Libation

This rickety-sticky animation features a lusty naked lady who is hell bent on getting off. Frustrated by her limited cable offering, she searches every room of her home for an old beau: her life-size vibrator. A game of seduction ensues that appears to climax with our heroine riding her rocket date into space, but actually culminates when she discovers that her electronic lover has left an attachment behind. Comprised of lush, retro home interiors, found Internet simple line drawings, and video footage, Master Libation also features a snappy narrative peppered with sound effects and jazzy drum beats.

Stallworks: Act 2

The soapy dildo slips and slides through the washers hands in a sensual and erotic manner while the soothing sound of running water fills the viewers ears. Derived from the study of 100 Polaroids of washroom graffiti, Stallworks Act 1, Stallworks Act 2 and Stallworks Act 3 form a relationship between filth and cleanliness, and sex and excrement. Drummond looks at these elements from differents perspectives and in relation to his own subjectivity.

The public washroom is a space where people can be alone with their «dirty» thoughts and actions. It is a space that allows us to express ourselves while remaining anonymous. This video depicts a public bathroom vandal at work in his «gallery».
